Tainaka Ritsu is the drummer in Houkago teatime and one of the main characters in K-ON!.

She's an energetic girl who loves her friends very much, but also has a shy side and finds it hard to rely on others.

Born on the 21st of August 1991, she's 15 at the beginning of the series and roughly 19 by the end of K-ON! College.

She's also my beloved waifu.

I love how even if she's always joking around and slacking on practice, she still really wants to make the band a success.

And she can really do it if she tries. She'd do anything for her friends.

She's not super-good at the drums, and she's not very good at matching the rhythm of her bandmates either, but I love how despite that she tries her absolute best and has fun playing the drums.

And her forehead is cute.
